Makeover of a young gymnast’s bedroom

This was a project for an 11-year-old girl, a gymnast, who formerly had pink-hued room that contained large, dark furniture.

This extreme makeover made the space lighter, more efficient, and integrated her interests, giving her a place to call her own.

The project involved painting the walls and ceiling, custom furniture (and purchased furniture), custom graphics, and dimensional elements (circles on the walls and ceiling).

Changes of this type are best done “all at once,” with the customer helping in the initial design, offering how the room is used, who uses the room and what changes are desired.
